I would probably have said that it’s a bit "soul" for my taste but I just love it. The music of Jill Stevenson reflects a depth of soul and poetic sense that reaches well beyond her years. They’ve been influenced by it all. Their second album A Weekend in the City narrowly missed out topping the UK charts this week (it entered at No. 2 behind Mika) also hit the charts at No. 2 in Japan, Australia and Ireland.
